Single to double glazed

Have a solid wooden half and half door from the house to the back garden. There are no draughts around the door but it is extremely cold when close to it.
Would changing the single glaze window to a double glazed window make much difference with regards to retaining heat in that area of the kitchen?

    Appreciate any tips or suggestions

It would not imo. You can pick up doors on donedeal / adverts for not a large amount of money. Can be fitted by handy person
