Who said I was talking about you?

Nice admission that you are a troll account though

Because it was obvious. I cannot believe you are trying to score points now, I'm actually quite emotional about this. Seriously, what is wrong with you?

When was the last time we did get 12 points from 30 available?

This behaviour does not reflect well on you. I need to step back from this thread I think for the sake of my mental well-being.

Some people display a worrying lack of mental fortitude to be Liverpool supporters.

You should. Maybe for a few weeks/months.

Your mental health is far more important than soccer.

Take care of yourself and maybe see you again next season.

38 draws would be invincible, not winning a single game would be invincible.

Imagine being "invincible" and getting relegated. :)

February 2016 was the last time we got less than 12 points from a 10 game run.

It’s important to note we are an amazing construct d team for relatively cheap but every player relies heavily on other player to improve their game

TAA without hendo drops a level
Robertson without mane drops a level
Mane without Salah drops a level
Vvd without Gomez drops a level
All other cvs with out VVD drop several level
Lovren when he plays drops everyone’s level
Firming doesn’t play Mo and mane drops a level
When we have our best 11 on the bitch we are the best team in the world

Sancho and Werner are must haves . We have to get both

I remember that stretch included a game against Sunderland where we conceded 2 in the last 5 minutes to end 2-2 with Adam Johnson scoring one in his final game before his conviction, I was so mad.

    Full team out against Chelsea.

Play 7-8 regulars against Bournemouth, have the rest on the bench.

    Full team again against Atletico.

After that we can bleed in a few of the U-23's for the remaining 10 matches of the season.

Really hope we play a somewhat strong side against Chelsea, with some deserving younger lads getting their game too.

    Adrian
    Williams Gomez Matip Robertson
    Milner Jones Fabinho
    Mane Minamino Origi

If needs be, Gini can play instead of Robertson with Milner switching to LB. Fabinho had a few months off so doesn't need the rest. Mane had a break too. They need to get back into rhythm, as does Matip. I'd even be tempted to start VVD aswell.

Chelsea in the Cup is now interesting.

Do we go stronger than previous rounds to avoid another defeat & try get into form or rest ahead of Bourneouth & Atletico 4 days after.

I was at the Shrewsbury game in Anfield, and with the greatest respect to the U-23's, against Chelsea it's all or nothing.

Either Klopp plays a full starting 11 and goes out to win the FA Cup, or he plays the U-23's with a few second choice players like Lovren, Minamino etc. and accepts a potential 5-0 defeat.

There's no point risking some of the first choice 11 if the intention is to lose the match. I've said this before, but the FA Cup still means a lot to a huge amount of Liverpool fans, we have the PL more or less won, the CL is another week away, so Klopp needs to send out a team that can beat Chelsea and go for a triple (or quintuple if you wish).

I wonder if the intensity from before and through the Christmas period is catching up.

Wolves really tested us at the end of January.
Southampton really gave us a game. The 4-0 scoreline was deceptive.
Norwich held on for over 70 minutes.
We were unable to break Atletico down.
We struggled against West Ham at Anfield. I thought this game was the wake up call needed going in to the weekend.

I couldn't believe what I was watching on Saturday. There looked to be no spark between midfield and attack.
Is it that we are so far ahead that the players are starting to think the job is done?

Definitely a bit of both. You have to remember Liverpool play 50% more games than most other teams in the Prem.

Also, I definitely think the players believe the win will come as it always has done and then lack urgency for 90 mins. They were caught out on Saturday.

It would be a good morning to announce the signing of Werner.

there is a bit of a chicken licken reaction going on, it was getting boring winning every game anyway. Also it was gone very quiet on here, those meltdown Monday's are good for traffic

We're surprisingly well adjusted. Granted I "took a break" for a couple of days as you just knew certain people were going to lose the run of themselves. I find I bristle more when our own genuine fans despair than the makebelieve ones with their faux sympathy or the headbangers.

I wouldn't be resting anyone for the Bournemouth match either. PL takes priority until it's over.

I think the manner of defeat means we’re having less of a meltdown.

Had we lost or drawn in a close game that we dominated, especially if due to a Lovren error or referee decision, then it would have been much worse.

In reality though we all watched the last 10mins knowing we’d already lost the game. Outplayed by a better team on the night. What is there to say? We’re not suddenly terrible and unable to win games, we just had an off night when the opposition bullied us and played better. Their finishing was excellent too, 2nd goal was unreal composure.

Nice quick turnaround to Chelsea now and then the best of fixtures at the weekend to get back on track.

The fact it’s the cup and our first XI looked a bit stagnant the last few games means it’s a great opportunity to introduce a fringe player or two. Origi is having a very poor season and so I’m hoping that Minamino or even Elliott could give us an option off the bench in the run in and tomorrow is a good opportunity for both to impress against a good side.

If Henderson was out for the season I’d be more worried. As it stands he has 10 days to get fit for the massive CL tie and we go from there

Why would me have any meltdown?

From 28 games 26 wins/1 draw/1 loss. Don't think the team is for you if you've got a problem with that.

    Agree with this 100%
There's nothing to get angry about. Watford were brilliant and fully deserved it, we know we're better than that and can recover, that's all that matters now

My only concern with the West Ham and Watford performances is whether we'll get our level back before Atleti, as we need to be on our A-game there

It's an incredible position to be in, to be first and know that a single defeat really doesn't matter

I think Werner would be a perfect fit for us. He has serious pace and takes a cracking pen. His stats this season are really something too.
