    Claims full history and new tyres among other things. Could be a nice buy if it checks out

    The "brand new tyres at last service" would indicate she's due a service very soon as the one he pictured looks like it's done a fair few miles.

    They are a great car though, well ahead of their time and ultra reliable and comfortable.

    Looks like the last service was in 2017 according to the book! And yeah, those tyres don't exactly look brand new..

    I drive 30km a day. So not big deal for me, but yeah, it is thirsty. Most 1.8 of that vintage would have similar mpg though. Regardless of manufacturers claims of 6l/100km ;)

    I drove one of these for 2 years recently. Grand car. Everything worked reliably and didn't have to do anything except change the brake lines. Very big inside for the size of the car. That's a little overpriced but for 6 or 7 hundred you could do a lot worse.

    Would the original purchaser have had to option cloth instead of leather?

    I remember colm_mcm saying the base model was available with cloth, and that only a handful sold.

    Just noticing now that the door cards look like they're leather?

    An odd mix indeed. I think if I owned that, I’d be picking up a leather interior for it.

    Very odd alright, the door cards and front centre armrest are in leather. They still have electric adjustment and lumbar support too. Seems overly equipped for a base model. Those seats look almost new with little or no wear too, I wonder were the originals replaced.

    Having owned one of these I regularly look at them on DD but I've never seen one with cloth seats. Their was not different spec levels AFAIK so that's very odd. I'd love another GS I really miss my last one..:(
