****s just got very real in Dublin, current media blackout... expect some panic..

It has spreed from Italy to Ireland. Currently one person up north confirmed. more to follow in dublin.

This is going to be a real ****show. Funny thing is I predicted this a few days ago on a post in reddit.

The one up north came through Dublin Airport and travelled on to Belfast, unsurprisingly as they weren't monitoring those coming in.

Yea cause there's a media blackout...
A media blackout of what exactly?

California is a hot spot akin to Milan

The situation in the Golden State may be getting even worse. Health officials are currently monitoring 8,400 potential coronavirus cases in the United States’ most populous state and largest economy.

Airlines are worse for bringing em, but hey never miss a buck!

    Because they can't afford too.

Most airline companies would go bust from several days down time, never mind several weeks.

If your basing this off stupid WhatsApp messages then knowing people working in the emergency services and the Matter where the isolation unit is, theres nobody in there

You predicted what? That there'd be a coronavirus case on the island soon?
    Well done, Nostradamus.

It is, or was, hardly rocket science to know we'd get a case at some point. Many interviewed on radio and TV have said so for a couple of weeks.

Not inner city. Most people seem to be in great form either going to the darts in the 3 Arena, late night shopping or Thursday night pints.

Sweden are saying one of their confirmed cases came from Germany so it's in full spread now as person wasn't near the obvious hot spots like China, South Korea, Iran or Northern Italy

Can't blame the airlines they are a business and all business is greedy. It was the job of the state to protect us and they have failed.

So what do you think will happen if you ring your doctor and tell him you have symptoms and you were recently in a area that was affected? Use your head ffs.

What are you yabbering about, it will quickly not be traceable to any current infected country in Europe or the other continents as we will be the infected country. What do you say to the doc ehhhh I got it in Ireland!

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

Believe it if you like. Or you could ring around and see what hotel isn't taking any booking tonight. I'll leave it at that until the blackout lifts. I don't want to end up on the special bus like the poor kid last night.

Countries in Europe will be pushed to close borders or implement checks.

Are people with flu like symptoms being advised to self isolate or go to doctor??
My brother has been suffering flu like symptoms since he got back from skiing last week and he is unsure what the procedure is?

Are there any stats for HSE tests for the virus?

Only reason we don't have a reported case is I don't believe the HSE are testing anybody!

So this has been asked a lot I'm sure but what symptoms does one need to look out for to see if they might have this?
