Radios that turn themselves on when TV is on?

Why is it that my radio (bought in lidl) keeps turning itself on when the TV is on? It happens so often, that if I'm about to watch a good show on TV, I always make sure to plug out the radio first. Why does this happen? And is there anything I can do to stop it?

Your TV remote and the radio is probably on the same frequency..
Try point your tv remote at the radio and see if it does anything...
