Shoe tree - how many and where to buy?

Reading through the threads, this is something I should have, but don't, to protect my new leather shoes.
Unvarnished cedar shoe trees seem best as they will absorb moisture etc.
I have 4 shoes - shoudl I but four, or only 1-2 as only needed for 1-2days after each wear?
Anyone recommend where these can be bought at a reasonable price?

I found them in Tescos, surprisingly. Don't know if they are ceder (I doubt it). But they were wood, and €10 a pair.

One pair really, two if you want to. They only really need to be in the shoe long enough to absorb the moisture, so 8 hours / overnight.

If you are wearing different shoes every day then you can have the trees in whatever shoes you had on the day before, and then switch them around.

As the previous replies mention you don't need a pair of trees for every two pairs of shoes. I've maybe 6 or 7 pairs of shoes that are deserving of shoetree use and I have maybe 4 pairs of shoetrees but one pair would do me but it's be a bit of shuffling that pair around.

I got my last pair from a Chinese seller on ebay ..... they were UK£15 ish about 4 years ago, seem to be more expensive now.....

They’re cedar and you won’t get better even if you spend more.

If you have good shoes then shoe trees will extend the life of your shoes considerably.
