the owner is very much an MG head, I wouldn't be surprised if there's something serious under the bonnet to warrant the extra pipes
The white MGA was parked around the corner from the Midget, so most likely his or a buddys car.

Thank you! How do you post the pictures so they're not a link??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,313 ✭✭✭MrCostington

If you right click on the attachment link and do Copy Link Location (in Firefox or similar in other browsers) then paste that into the insert image icon (2nd from right in the normal, not advanced view.) Maybe other ways too.

    Lovely spot!

That was parked outside Carcraft in Ballybough last week. I think Shane had it in. Looked lovely and had to help myself to a few pics too.

Saw an absolutely stunning burnt orange / wine red one this morning in Donnybrook. Didn't have the cycling cam on me though :(

    The Met preferred the 6/110.
2.9 litre straight six they were the real deal.

I've a friend fairly high up in a traffic corps across the water. I remember him sending me pics of something like that or possibly older. It was in for maintenance at a police garage where he was picking something up.

If I can't find the email i'll get him to resend them.

I remember going to police auctions in London with my uncle when he bought ex police 16/60's for peanuts, as well as the old Zephyr 6. Very comfortable vehicles in their day.

Both the early Zephyr with the flared back wings, and the later box type.
