Interesting, why do you think that? I'm not disagreeing with you, I just don't know!

There’s a cycle that cars go through before they go up. It’s basic supply and demand. They’re at the stage now where insurance is tricky, they’re too old to be respectable (subjective) and too new to be classic.
They end up falling into the wrong hands or just scrapped, then everybody wonders where they’ve all gone, they become rare, and then more valuable.
The fact that this car has futuristic construction and was built in small numbers, it will be a very interesting classic.
While all classics go up in value, I would predict this will be far more valuable than run of the mill stuff.

Brother in law bought a 2003 one a few years ago. It never passed a petrol station. He eventually had to sell it as it just cost too much to run.

Nice one this. Local to me.
Long test and a couple of weeks tax to get you started for under a k.

That Corolla Verso is nice, they’re often in rag order, but that looks quite tidy. (Could be because it’s wet)

The seats aren’t the right colour though - I can’t figure that one out! They should be a horrid greeny blue colour in the centers and not grey. They look much nicer now.

I've always wondered how there was such a long overlap for Mk1 and Mk2 registrations on the Octavia. You see MK2's on 06/07 plates and MK1's on 08/09 plates.

Was there loads of MK1s waiting to be registered at the time I wonder?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 73,546 ✭✭✭✭colm_mcm

Nope, they were called the Octavia Tour and were produced at the same time as the Mk2.

They kept going as they were such a good seller, most taxi in many countries used them.

    Great car.

Agree but lately I find DoneDeal isn’t much better. Best of a bad lot I suppose.
