2 flakes of snow here in West Mayo. Plenty of heavy hail showers overnight but only a small bit stuck.

Snow is stopping in Dublin 16. Thin coating of snow on everything. Will not last long!

Roads are treacherous coming from Meath to Dublin! M3 is not gritted. Particularly from Kells to Dunshaughlin.

Nothing but hail near mallow in cork. The white gold proving elusive down here this winter.

Nice dusting in East Meath this morning. Right at the sea, so surprised to see it.

Oh I remember those days, my lad doing a dance around the kitchen when it started snowing.

I think he thought snow was just something he seen on tv or story books.

Snow gave a covering in Cebridge this morning, but as soon as it stopped it turned to a scuttery mess. Give me rain over this any day.

Wet-bulb temperatures are now at zero or below for many areas, which is why snow is falling, but the saturated ground and strong wind prevented any hard frost from setting in to aid accumulations. A typical polar maritime event.

You forgot the three most important words, cheap Atlantic muck ;)

I was happy to see the snow fall but I remain of the opinion, roll on spring/summer!

Only light to moderate snow showers overnight and this morning in north Kildare. Nothing terribly heavy. Snow is settling above about 130m, below this its just slush on the roads at best and below 100m it has barely been sticking to the grass. Had to assist a driver who left the road on the hill close to home. Road would be at about 140m at that point and quite sheltered. 200m further down the road (and about 10m lower in altitude) and there was no snow sticking to the road. Very abrupt change. Snow coverage is pretty much what I was expecting all along.

Quite a bit of snow up on Keeper Hill in Tipp. Not up to my usual standards as I didn't have my camera with me and only had my 10 year old phone with 5 MP camera:

Keeper's the one on the right, behind the ridge next to Silvermines.

From yesterday (Monday 10th) - heavy enough accumulation on M9, just east of Carlow town.
Deep enough to tug on the steering wheel if you left the ruts.
A few km further on it was gone, just wet/raining.

Surpring gusts early this morning, and just now, in Mountmellick.
I see on camera that my bin just keeled over.

This was around 9am in Durrow - yesterday's snow survived on the shorter grass around the weather station but melted in the field behind. I guess the air was able to melt the snow easier by getting in under via the space between the cover and grass.
