What is it with these ads?
    What’s the purpose of them?

To get fools and their money to meet somewhere where they're then parted with their cash and possible a beating too.

People should call them up and arrange to meet, then not show.

You could also ask them to spell a few words used in the ad for a laugh.

Nice yoke. Condition of drivers seat would make mileage believable.
    Only 10k km between 2017 and 2019?

Mileage has decreased by 10,000 when converted from kilometers.

    A common trick.
Keep the mileage below that 100k🙂

Thoughts on a civic 1.8 2006 or 2007? A good or great car?

    Is this really happening?

I know it happens when selling cars in the low price range - they show up and pressure people in to sales, then show up after the sale to demand money after X went wrong. Be smart and use common sense on the phone. No room for PC bs when you're safety is involved.

it might seem obvious but if you have any doubts on the phone with the Buyer/seller, don't meet them on their terms. Meet at a public place with cctv and make sure someone knows where you are and what you are doing.
In fact, you should ensure this when carrying cash for a car in any case.
There is an AppleGreen next to my house - I've sold a few cars down through the years there rather than outside my house.

Terrible idea buying from a carpark to be honest.

These thefts are easy as they tell you to fill out the form etc, swap out cash or envelope, get you to check exhaust etc and drive off, loads of different ways and as other poster said pressure you into a sale or sell a complete lemon or clone.

I always sold from the house and bought from a house. Yes of course the house may not be theirs or they just parked up etc but still I'd prefer a place to trace back somewhat.

Not for me, it's a diesel kind of risky with that price range.

I hear they are fairly reliable as long as both belts are done? DMF is a concern I assume.

Crap photos, trader seller who knows nothing about it, a months test left, 180km is obviously 180 miles...and "belts done" doesn't exactly inspire a lot of hope! Belts done when exactly!? 5 years and 100k miles ago I'd guess

Theres better out there for the money

I had to call to check out the 180km... of course it’s miles 😂

Ah now it’s only about 30k worth of petrol and 33k of tax/vat/5c and 8c here and there/carbon tax/nora plus the hidden ones.
