Every time the green opens her mouth it's costing people money

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,107 ✭✭✭✭lawred2

    Spoofology from herself in green..

No cost to the person to retrofit social housing.

No but a massive cost to the rest of us..

She was so concerned about a 7bn fine in 8 years yet no bother with 2.25bn a year to retrofit existing houses..

Taxes to the left of them. Taxes to the right of them. Taxes. Taxes.

So retrofit the social housing first and it won't cost them nothing.

And if you own a house, hard luck you pay for it yourself.

Jack Chambers has been excellent. Has CB still quivering in her boots. Great to see her get her come uppance.

    30,000 per house for retro-fitting
As someone here said recentlyit would be cheaper to give them fivers to burn to keep themselves warm

People on the islands vote in advance and their ballots are held securely and opened on the day.

In theory if FF and FG get the same number of seats then the Tipp vote would be crucial.

Perhaps all the other votes should be held securely until the Tipp ballot is held.

Common sense should prevail here and the polling office staff could put a sticker across each ballot paper as they are being handed out.

That's a serious point . If the other election results are known before the Tipperary vote -then that would surely compromise the integrity of the whole process as the Tipp voters are voting in a context that was not available to all other voters.

FF lad needs to cool the jets! Talk about getting overly defensive on everything. He looks like he is going to flip the desk over any minute

FG are the only sensible party

He could flip that desk using only his super strong eyebrows.

Remember those daily millions in fines we were promised by FG if they didn't impose water charges?

Well, we didn't get them or the fines.

Tipp has three Indos, Lab and FF. If that's similar it shouldn't affect things too much and party policies will be exactly the same.

Wow...FF guy mustn't know the 'when in a hole stop digging' adage. :)
    Jack Chambers
I have always really disliked that smug tosser.. someone from FF saying Sinn Fein would bankrupt the country...lol

I also thought Jack Chambers is very good tonight
Eoin O'Broin is one of Sinn Féins best T.D's
A lot of sense talked tonight lost in adversarial politics
It's better than the exaggerated unnatural climate anxiety from the 2 Thunberg fans at the start tonight

As for the ecologist, he should try reading in bed at night in the country with a window open, you'd be knocked down by the insects bugs and midges
Everyone here was roaring laughing at him
No jackdaws or crows or magpies
Get out of it with that rubbish
When I'm cutting silage, its like the set of alfred Hitchcock's the birds with all the crows

FG handlers possibly realised now that constantly attacking the shinners has backfired.

They now have the greens in their sight.

Simply put its a little bit like what happened with the RIC commemorations, its seens as talking down to the electorate in ways.

I don't know if you saw the North West debate, where an independent Marian Harken schooled the **** out of FG, FF and the greens.

The Greens are nearly as bad as government as they have RTE backing which can be just as bad as most pieces they deliver are condescending ****e.

Taking more money out of our pockets doesn't seem to solve the problem(s) though does it? Debates like this show how inept these guys are at solving problems.

Do you have a link to that because I seem to recall the Troika suggesting it rather than imposing it?
