So ACA837 is currently circling south east of Madrid after supposedly the under carriage falling off and hitting an engine shortly after take off...... Thats the headline on a lot of story's but i think its more likely that the tyre burst.

Bit odd to have an F18 in formation with the 767. Yes they can check the gear for the pilots, but otherwise they're a hazard.

Thats exactly what they are doing.

Youd wonder why wait 30 minutes before informing the tower, i imagine if it did fall off it fell off in the first 30 seconds

Blew a tyre on landing in Bristol about 18 months in the middle of a storm. It was rocky but we made it to the gate.

It would land no problems on a blown tyre, I reckon 75% of the tyres could be gone and it’d still be fine

Tyre on left main is missing, don’t think it went in to the engine considering the mains are a good distance behind the engine.
