Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I think this topic deserves a thread of its own as it's going to cause as much trouble as VAR has in soccer.

I think the advanced mark in particular is a terrible idea and it's just turning the game into Aussie Rules. A free kick at goal for catching the ball is not what GAA should be about.

They've even named the national league the AFL now too. I know the A stands for Allianz as they sponsor it but it's some coincidence that AFL also stands Australian Football League.

It is awful. I don't think I have ever seen a cheaper score than the one Michael Murphy got last Saturday.

To gain a mark, in my opinion, the catch should be contested/player must be off the ground etc but the game is hard enough to ref as it is.

    But get rid of it.
