rainbowtrout I think *think* Queen - Don't Stop Me Now has 6 votes if I'm counting right?

One more for ELO and Queen if that helps.

I'll put Blondie out of their misery and vote The Doors in that battle.

    I think you are right!
If I count correctly only the ELO v Gary Numan is still pending

2025 gigs: Selofan, Alison Moyet, Wardruna, Gavin Friday, Orla Gartland, The Courettes, Nine Inch Nails, Rhiannon Giddens, New Purple Celebration, Nova Twins

Yes this is the only one left

    Currently

ELO 3 - 4 Gary Numan which I will call at 11:30 if there's no further movement.

Jesus, my nominations got absolutely gutted in that round. Think I only have one left. :(

As Mr Blue Sky - ELO and Gary Numan - Are Friends Electric are both tied on 4-4, I'm going to vote Gary Numan and that puts an end to Round Two. Thanks for voting this evening. Back tomorrow evening with Round Three.

Not entirely sure how many of my songs are left in as everything moved so fast the past few days that I couldn't keep track of the winners and losers, but I think I lost quite a few in round 1, and possibly only have 3 left in it...

    If I'm not mistaken...

-Jolene, Hold The Line, and Burning Love were knocked out in the qualifiers, which I'm sure of.
-Tiny Dancer, Everybody Dance, Sultans of Swing, and Carry On My Wayward Son were just beaten in round 1, I think, which is an absolute joke by the way. Even though I'll admit they came up against equally heavy hitters if I'm remembering rightly.
-Which means I've got Go Your Own Way, Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!, and Wuthering Heights left to fight it out, and I'm not even certain if they made it through or not.

Tough comp. I thought Sultans Of Swings and Carry On My Wayward Son would both at least make it to the Quarter Finals.

I think I have four still in the running, but not 100% sure. It's a pretty brutal competition.

Jesus, my nominations got absolutely gutted in that round. Think I only have one left. :(

Actually looking back.on this, I think one of my nominations (Angie) might have been eliminated in error, unless I'm counting wrong I think it should have won its qualifier against Are Friends Electric, which is still in play?

Not that I'm gonna make a fuss or anything, I doubt Angie would have won overall anyway and Are Friends Electric is still a good tune. I'm much more bothered about my other nominations going out; Walk On The Wild Side was one I thought would have made QF at least. :( Also sad about I Feel Love going out to Mamma Mia, which I would consider the weakest by far of the ABBA nominations and yet it's the one that's gone furthest. That damn musical has a lot to answer for!!

    My nominations that are out:

    Angie (qualifiers)
    Tusk (qualifiers)
    We've Got Tonite (round 1)
I Feel The Earth Move (round 1)
    Heart of Gold (round 1)
Knowing Me Knowing You (round 2)
Walk On The Wild Side (round 2)
    I Feel Love (round 2)
    Move On Up (round 2)

    Only Heroes is left. :(

One of my nominations too, absolutely shocked to see it go out so early. I had it pegged as a possible winner.
