ABBA - Gimme, Gimme, Gimme ; one of my nominees, ABBA's best, and I honestly think Hotel California is highly overrated.

Blue Oyster Cult - Don't Fear The Reaper ; it's a classic. Don't think it should win the whole comp since it won the one hit wonders, but it's better than Sweet Home Alabama so have to vote it through.

David Bowie - Space Oddity - the better of the Bowie's here.

Buzzcocks - Ever Fallen In Love - it's the better song here by some margin, I'm not a massive Springsteen fan anyway and Born To Run is only just okay.

Patti Smith Group - Because the Night ; tough choice, but I enjoy Because the Night just a little bit more.

Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody - don't think it deserves to win outright, it's somewhat overrated in that sense, but its the better song of these two.

Rolling Stones - Angie - it's a class tune and deserves to advance more than Queen, even though Queen will probably win.

Fleetwood Mac - Go Your Own Way - my last remaining song and a potential outright winner.
