Recover Excel file

    Hi.

    Working on an excel file and never saved it, computer crashed, when it turned on, I clicked “cancel” on the excel prompt instead of open, panicked as I realised 4 hours of work lost.

    Is there any way I can recover this. Working on Apple IMac. Thanks

    Is it in your recent files in excel?

    No It’s not in recent or I can’t locate auto saved files.
    Does excel auto save?
