Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This report in the New Ross Standard says it all.

The Barrow bridge has been left permanently opened for shipping traffic. It can't be long now before it's condemned as being unsafe and pulled down.

how are they planning to get the greenway across the river?

well, it looks like they won't be able to. unless they are able to find a route to connect it to the newross greenway to get across that bridge, or they are able to force CIE to actually maintain the bridge. it says in the article that there is a preservation order on it so in that case there will be surely some obligation to maintain it even if not to rail standards.

I'm very highly educated. I know words, i have the best words, nobody has better words then me.

Should the council not take this over or at least remove the opening section.
