Hi house has oil central heating (old firebird 90 oil boiler). Thinking of upgrading boiler to Condensing boiler.

Just noticed some people in my housing estate converting over to gas (mains gas). Just wondering is it worth switching over? What are the advantages if any? Cost of gas compared to oil etc...

Im very tempted seems more convenient

Id go with Gas all day long. Kero or oil is a messy businness and needs to be monitored. Have mains gas on street here and waiting for the old boiler to pack it up altogether before swapping.
