Hi

I plan to travel to Kraków, Poland in February for a week to visit my family. (Airline is Lufthansa for both flights so I can just go to flight connections in Frankfurt)

All EU nationals can travel with just their ID card to any EU country (and many others outside EU). You will be able to enter Germany, do not worry.
