Make eir webmail default to the basic version of Zimbra?

Only a small thing I know, but it's disproportionately annoying! (Maybe because I feel it ought to be a simple matter).

I check two eircom.net email accounts frequently, by logging in to eir webmail. I far prefer the Basic version of Zimbra (which is called the Standard version once I log in). I find the other version very clunky and hard to read.

I can get the Basic version by ticking the little box under the email address before signing in, but next time it's always defaulted to the other version. It gets tedious ticking the box on every sign-in, for both accounts, and I can't see anywhere to make it the default. Anyone know how?

Android phone (my only access to the internet at the moment). Same problem whether Chrome or Opera app. No mail client (don't want one in the phone). Can't ask Eir, as no other account with them. (I do know they're on Facebook, but find FB pages not much use for queries)

Use a password manager that supports custom input:

    Username
    tab
    Password
    tab
    Space
    enter

    Or whatever it requires.

Thanks Ed E, I'll look into that again. So far, my 'password manager' has been a notebook in a safe place, and encrypted USB stick. And last time I looked, adding another phone app and/or trusting more personal info to the cloud seemed over the top for the number of passwords.

Surely eir's webmail section must be sophisticated enough to enable setting a version of itself as default? Somewhere?

Try Keepass, you store the files yourself. It just encrypts and automate thinks.

It might do, but I've long got every eircom.net account I supported moved away to something more robust so cannot check.

Thanks. I read a bit about it, and it looks like the one for me (e.g. cloud storage being optional). If/when I have enough passwords to want a manager, that is (I'm not running a business/in a job, for instance). And looking at the reviews of the Android app, I'm not sure if it'll work with my particular phone.

I don't think the eir webmail thing is a password problem.
