172 Hyndai i40 light sensor gone. Would warranty cover?

    As per title, the automatic lights sensor is gone in our 172 i40. It's still under cover from the garage (bought 2nd hand) and by manufacturer. Would that be considered standard wear and tear or something that should be covered? thank you.

    Yes. It’s a 5 year warranty.
    Unless you caused the issue (maybe by fitting a new windscreen)
    Sensors aren’t wear and tear items

    Thanks colm_mcm. No, I haven't fitted anything since I bought it. Can I go to any Hyundai garage do you know or does it have to go back to where I bought it?
