2.2m in the bank and I'm still 0.1m short of Vardy to Aguero :(

Sheffield have a great run can see double defence working well

Martinelli worth a shout? 2 goals in as many games, good fixtures, only 4.5m. Obviously Auba's going to be the main man when he returns but might Lacazette make way?

Reminder for those going early, by the deadline we’ll know what 4 teams will have blanks in GW28 (League Cup final)

City and Arsenal almost definitely have
Either Villa/SU and Leicester/Norwich likely have

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,128 ✭✭✭NabyLadistheman

Maupay out. And Ryan. And anybody else that even looks remotely focking Brighton

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,483 ✭✭✭macraignil

Aguero very close to going up in price and Maddison predicted to drop so moving now before I'm priced out of the change. Cleared out Pickford for McCarthy last week to raise funds so now have the exact money for Maddison and Abraham to Aguero and Hayden.

Edit: Aguero now gone over 100% to a rise after being in the 90's earlier in the evening.

Note for future 'shineon' when i look at this next week.

Banked a transfer this week rather than stinking up my team with WHU players i won't want after this GW.

    2 FTs

    Can do for free
    Salah or Mane to Son.
    To allow Vardy to Aguero

    Or

    Can do for - 4
    Downgrade 2 defenders to fodder/rotaters
Would let me keep Salah and Mane
    Amd move Vardy to Aguero

When did Brighton become shlt? When I bought 2 of their players? :( And I thought they had nice fixtures.......

They also have only 5pts from the last 18. One player max for me and and even considering selling Lundy

Are the Aguero owners not concerned he will be rested for league games once the CL returns next month?

No but I am worried about the blank in GW28 but for now I'm enjoying the ride, 70 points in 3 GWs

No, play every GW as it comes, worry about it when it comes.

Sometimes overthinking can be the downfall.

There is a lot of budget price defenders & midfielders performing & able to fill in.

It's just essiential that you have a strong bench or at the very least a playing bench, he is so explosive that you can absorb the rests, feck it he even scored last night when rested!

Tempted to bring in Laporte for Kelly. Ryan is a problem too

Did you take into account that they've played City twice, Liverpool and Arsenal in the last 6? In the other two games they only conceded the 1 goal against Watford. I'll be doubling up on defence soon.

Kelechi in if Vardy is done

Either wildcard or one week punt on troy deeney

Yep...it's either that or Deeney, Wilson etc for me

Looking at Vardy & DCL -> Aguero & Martinelli. 2 FTs.

    Haller to deeney I reckon

I already have Aguero, would it be absolute madness to get Jesus in to replace Vardy? Be good craic to own the two in fairness.

Might do Maddison and Vardy to Fleck and Auba.

Madness in my opinion. If you have the money go with PEA.

I need a <5.9 mid for Madisson to upgrade Vardy to Aguero....

    Any suggestions?

Was thinking Doucoure ... other options are

    Cantwell (havent owned this season)
Fleck (don't know anything about him tbh
    Traore (bad fixtures)

In the same boat. I prefer Fleck, their fixtures for the next 6 weeks are lovely.

    Need to remember this
Been on my radar for ages
    Having Lundstrum put me off
    But those fixtures
And they are actually a good team
Much better and more reliable than the likes of united and arsenal
But don’t see him in many squads

  • Registered Users Posts: 304 ✭✭The Guru 123

Yeah you're probably right. I don't have money for PEA, will probably just go with Ings and re-invest elsewhere

JWP (5.8) has a great run of games after Liverpool.

On set pieces, corners and free kicks and should be on penalties but I could see Ings possibly taking PKs.

That Auba run of fixtures look great, and his points total is great but Arsenal are awful and I find him such an annoying player to own.

Just swapped Grealish and Vardy for PEA and Fleck. Hopefully pays off. Last 2 weeks been terrible

Vardy and Cantwell to Auba and Hayden for a hit perhaps.

I hadn't if I'm perfectly honest, have just had this nagging feeling that they will drift away, in light of your post, their fixtures and the fact I have so much money tied up in him, I think I might keep Lundy, dont think I would ever go as far as doubling up though.

    He is on penalties.

They got a penalty the other day that was ruled out by VAR.

JWP was holding the ball and Ings was on the pitch.

I’m 99% sure on this but my memory isn’t great.

    Started smoking again recently.

Thats good enough for me so.

JWP been the best penalty taker at the club since Lambert left. He should definitely be on them.

Some of the podcasts i listen to reckon Ings is nailed to take them. I was thinking more along the lines of Ings taking some to keep up his goal scoring run.

I have a problem. I stupidly made the early transfer of Pope to Henderson, thinking the rest of my team was in decent shape.
    Then Vardy gets injured.
Any transfers now will be for a hit.
Forward line is Vardy Ings Greenwood, so don't really want to downgrade Vardy to DCL, Deeney etc

Could downgrade 1 of Salah, Mane, Maddison to get Auba/Kun for Vardy. But would be a -8.

Should I just get a FW under 10m?

Or go for it and get Auba/Perez in for Vardy/Maddison?
    Aguero/Fleck the alternative

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,083 ✭✭✭Chesty08

Does anyone know the injury extent to Sarr?

I might bank this GW, leaving me with 2 FT's and then the following week do a double transfer to get Aubameyang in for what looks a tasty run of fixtures!

Throughout that whole period they have still played well. Outside of basically Liverpool they/their players are the only ones performing consistently to their ability and more importantly to their FF price
I am keeping Henderson and Lundstram and will be adding Fleck as soon as I wc

Vardy could yet be fit for the next gameweek. I would hold fire until next week.

I’d hold tight for now. Abraham and Vardy might not miss the next game. Wait for updates from the pressers.

Even without the updates I'm thinking of moving Vardy on for Aguero and would need to balance that move by bringing someone else out. Tammy or Maddison was obvious choice. I only have 6 or so million to replace either though.

I know this is the thing I normally try and hold off when there's a break incase of injuries etc but so many ****ing player's in this game can't just bloody wait! I've already lost . 1 on Maddison and Calvert Lewin is going up tonight. Tammy I'm sure will drop as well over next while.

There's always chance Aguero will go up again as well.

    Hayden to Fleck

Likely move to 352 when I wildcard.

Did Mane to Son. Holding Vardy for the time being.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,083 ✭✭✭Chesty08

Is there anyone looking at Aubameyang?

With triple City, I'm looking at moving on Mahrez or DeBruyne plus Tosun to Aubameyang & Traore.

I'm going to hold fire this week as Tosun was a punt for his 3 home games and with Arsenal& Wolves both playing away & Aubameyang only back... I dont think I can take a hit on it

But Aubameyang is definitely on the radar as they then play 3 games at Home

Aubameyang is only 23 points behind Vardy which is very surprising given how well Vardy has been
