Misophonia - What sounds can you simply not stand?

I read up recently on misophonia, which is a condition where people simply cannot stand certain sounds. Examples include loud or sloppy eating, sneezing, drumming of fingers etc. For me it's loud and messy eaters, the sound of someone sloshing food around their mouths or smacking/sucking their lips is enough to make me want to shake with rage.

What sounds drive you utterly crazy??

I can't stand the sounds of people eating or drinking or "artists" vaping down the microphone when they're recording a podcast.

Political speak emphasing the future. Allergic reactions include unplugging the radio and throwing leaflets/ campaign letters into a roaring fire.

Crunching snow gives me the shivery creepies, even if I imagine the sound. I am not sure if that is Misophonia though.

The sound of chalk, dusters or - the very worst - nails screeching on a blackboard. Shudder...

House and car alarms going off all day long.

The snorting sound people make instead of blowing their noses. Makes me want to vomit.

Cardboard scraping off more cardboard. Especially that "double ply" corrugated cardboard. Makes me shiver just thinking about it.

Having to close a cardboard box where you have to fold cardboard flaps under other cardboard flaps and they scrape and scratch off each other makes my skin crawl. I won't do it unless absolutely necessary.

I have to turn in the radio at mealtimes in my place to drown out the chewing noises

Repeated sniffing and the coughing of a seriously ill person in public places go home you are sick and I don't want to catch it.

Styrofoam. Gaaaaaah! Big pieces rubbing off each other like when you unpack a large printer. :(

I'm pretty bad when it comes to egregiously bad eating. It can easily ruin a meal and leave me in a foul mood.

    Apart from that, nothing really.

Someone eating an apple, each crunch sounds obnoxious.

The snorting/clearing of their nose on a quiet dublin bus. Every 20 seconds. After they loudly snort it all back I just want to turn around and ask "So are you just going to swallow that or what?"

Eating noises and people biting their finger nails. I get sever anxiety. Can’t help it

If I watch food programmes and it has an uplclose of Paul ****ing Hollywood sloshing food around in his mouth it makes me want to flying knee the television in the face.

    Great.. Another madeie uppie condition.

Im always find this reaction interesting. "Well, I don't experience it, so it must be made up".

What other madeie uppie conditions are there, as a matter of interest?
