Seal around shower tray

I am installing a shower screen. The instructions say that I should seal around the tray before installing the screen and the wall profiles. If I do that it might be hard to attach the profiles flush to the wall at the bottom near the tray due to the Sealant. Should I install them while the silicone is still wet to prevent this?

Thanks, I hadn't seen that one and it is very clear. For some reason, my "experienced" fitter decided not to silicone the tray at all and just use classiseal .. needless to say, it leaked ...

If I have to redo the tray silicone, how can I do that without taking off the screen?

Silicone cutter. Run a sharp blade along silicone first to make it easily removed. Use dry cloth to rub difficult bits off. Make sure all of the old silicone is gone before re-sealing

Ipa alcohol works brilliantly to remove old hard silicone off tiles, literally spray on and then slide a scraper along to remove it completely.
