Is Black Ops 4 Digital Deluxe worth €40?

Been humming and hawing since it was reduced on PS store.

Is Black Ops 4 Digital Deluxe worth €40?

Been humming and hawing since it was reduced on PS store.

I bought it day 1 and got close to a hundred hours of it in.

Depends if you like multiplayer or not though. Assuming you do I think it’s a great package overall.

Zombies is a bit dead at this point, but you can still get a game if you wait a bit.

Personally I far rather Apex Legends for BR gaming but this is good in its own way and lots swear by it.

The regular multiplayer is exactly what you’d expect and still very popular.

€40 seems a bit steep to me though if I’m honest. I’d have thought with the new one out it’d be cheaper. That said I don’t know what you’re getting with the deluxe version. A load of maps? If so maybe makes it worth it?

Has anybody used that Instant Gaming for PS Plus? When you buy does it deliver or just give you a code? Thanks

Used them for some PSN credit. They gave me a dud code which I had to complain about which they claimed was "deactivated for fraud concerns". They sorted it out quickly but I had to send a picture of my passport to them. I'd used Revolut which was a UK card for my Irish account which is what they claimed the probelm was but I dunno why they just didn't fail the transaction straight away instead of giving me the dud code. Stress wasn't worth the 7 quid saved.

Just have your ID nearby if you are going to use them.

I've held of on Persona 5 but 20 squids is tempting. I'm still working through AC Odyssey and have Days Gone in the pile too, dang it.

Tbh at this stage I would wait for Persona 5 Royal, which is out at the end of March.

It will be pricier being a new release but it comes with all the content of the Ultimate release on psn plus a lot more content and some readjustments to improve the pacing.

I was thinking along those lines too but Royal will be 3 times the price most likely, not sure I want to try the game for that price, €20 is more palatable (don’t fancy subbing to PSNow either).

If price is your only factor it will always be cheaper than €20 on the US store as it is in the Hits range there. It is currently $9.99 in the US sale until the 17th.

The Ultimate bundle is more than the Irish store at $42.49 though. Nothing from that bundle is necessary though.

Its probably over 100 hours stand alone on the base game, these days I dont have the time or the inclination to put that much into something although I'm over 80 hours into ACO and I'd say I'm only half through the campaign

Thanks a mil, totally forgot about checking prices in other stores. Also picked up Tetris Effect for $20. Happy with that. :)

Argos have a 500GB standard PS4 Crash Team Racing bundle for €214.99 if you can find stock on it anywhere.

You missed some great deals around Black Friday. Argos had a deal for a PS4 Pro, Death Stranding, a second controller and a bluray film for €324.99. I jumped on that and traded my 4 year old PS4, 2 old controllers and death stranding (which I had already) into CEX for €260 meaning the Pro upgrade cost me €66. Was well chuffed.

I seen Tesco, Ardkeen advertise PS4 with Fifa 19 and PS+ for €199 the other day on shelves. I do not know if they had stock, but check your local large Tesco store.

Will do, going by there in an hour or so.

The Wolf Among Us is a fiver. Looks worth a punt at that price?

Absolutely worth it if you haven't played it. Only Walking Dead season 1 beats it from Telltale.

On the flip side, I just couldn't get into it. It didn't drag me in, and it wasn't due to Telltale fatigue, as the only other TT game I've played was The Walking Dead S1. It seemed intriguing, but I never went back to it for some reason.

But most people do seem to like it. I'm a strange fish.

    I know it’s not a bargain,
But do you get the box for the game in the bundles.
Looking at the PS4 with fifa 20 for 299 then trade the game at CEx for 27 cash or another controller.

I got the Red Dead 2 bundle and the game came in its box, I also purchased a Fifa one for a cousin, they gave me the money, and the game was in the bundle with its box but there are some where you just get a download code, it normally tells you in the bundle whether there is a code or physical copy
