A very spiteful narcissist he is. In the week his mate Donald trump almost caused WW3 he instead chooses to go on an angry rant about Harry and Meghan. What a world we live in.

He has a boorish manner that makes him hard to listen to but most of the time he’s correct in what he’s saying.

Im far from pc but I think he's a scumbag and a hypocrite.

Careful now folks. Piers is half Irish. Nuance, maturity and inclusiveness to the fore.

The man is about as Irish as the laptop I'm using to write this post with.

MEGA - Make Éire Great Again

He claims to be Irish yet the other day he called himself a royalist and celebrates England's triumphs in international matches.

I follow him on Twitter and he's constantly getting blamed for this, but he didn't work for the News of the World at that time.

Is he fúck? He is the very definition of a populist. His opinions, for what they're worth, are dictated solely by how the wind is blowing on any given topic. He will say or do anything to keep himself relevant.

He is an odious cretin with not a single bone of conviction in his body.

He had nothing whatsoever to do with Milly Dowler's voicemails getting hacked by the News of the World. He left that paper seven years earlier.

His appearance on Have I Got News for You, twenty-four years ago (back when it was good), was very funny. An early display of his total lack of self-awareness.

To me, having sat through it, he just comes across as entirely arrogant

Remember the time he presided over his newspaper publishing fake photos of British soldiers urinating over their captives? It seems the British public doesn't either

He like (sic) someone so he's ok with you? Not exactly deep thinking there. :D

I mean yeah, I don't always disagree with him, but he's also a nasty **** to people who don't deserve it - that's not to be admired.

Yeah I don’t have a problem with people saying what they want; anyone should be able to have an opinion. But he just seems nasty in general.

    I rarely follow him.
He says he originally wrote nice stuff about Megan and Harry but he went off her after time. That opinion is certainly there is the public from people who I know that like the royals.
He's known to have strong views on things.
    It's certainly working for him.
Some wouldn't like him and some would.
He may be classed as a straight talker.
An Irish example would be Niall Boylan. He'd lay into somebody like Magaret Cash and ask difficult questions. Whilst others would just feel sorry for her or pretend to feel sorry for her.
I'd have no real opinion on him.
    I

    Piers Morgan is from Banagher.

Piers Morgan? Who the flip is Piers.. .. .. Oh you mean C*nty McC*ntface!

He's just a narcissistic dickhead who thinks everyone loves him but in reality is just as much of a waste of matter as Katie Hopkins.
He's more intelligent than Katie. He says whatever needs to be said to be "controversial" but unlike Katie he knows when to stop. Katie was an idiot who got sacked by everyone and now no one will touch her with a barge pole.

How is being a Trump lover populist. Makes no sense.

His daily mail column attacking Meghan are vicious. I don't think they are racist just because Meghan is of mixed ethnicity. But his criticism of Meghan and Harry are OTT. His life stories TV series wasn't bad. He is intelligent but I think he attaches too much importance to his own opinions. Yes he is of Irish stock, his father was from Birr apparently.

Big fan of him. I don't agree with him on everything but he calls out nonsense when he See's it.

Seems to be very well liked by those who work with him and know him.

I'd say that's more keeping quiet for a quiet life. He has a massive vindictive streak. He got the paps and reporters to stalk Ian Hislop for 6 months.

Not a fan. Comes across as a pompous publicity hound. Even the sheer amount of face he has annoys me. Makes Jeremy Clarkson look cool.

Should've disappeared into obscurity after the phone hacking and fake pictures.

Must have some serious dirt on some very important people to still have the platform he has

How exactly did he come out of the phone hacking scandal unscathed?

    Walking tabloid/Sensationalist.

Oooh I'm so intolerant, find out why for just 20p.

    Do not buy.

His name at birth was O'Meara. His father was from Banagher, I believe. His father died when Piers was young, mother remarried and the boy took his stepfather's name.

Common enough really. Whoever heard of the US Presidents born Leslie Lynch King or William Jefferson Blythe?

The English hate him because he exposed their war crimes in Iraq and the typical English Gammon can't stand the Irish (of course there are millions of decent English people )

he's a professional sh1t stirrer who is very good at his job as evidenced by the responses on this thread.

What did he expose? It's common knowledge that he had photos faked of soldiers urinating on detainees.

I often wonder does Susanna Reid love him or loath him?

She is 100& in cahoots with him, she pretends she's rallying against him with hir eye rolls but she, too has a column in the Daily Mail so knows what side her bread is buttered. She retweets his rants in a "lol, what is he like?" way but she knows exactly what she's doing.

    An enabler.

He's a novelty 'personality' like your wan Hopkins. Hard to tell what his real views might be but like Fox news folk we know he's willing to put on a show for money, regardless of any societal fall out.

What’s the deal with Piers Morgan? Do people generally agree with his views and is he always so angry? I’ve only read a few articles he’s written and they seem angry, spiteful and unkind. The most recent one he wrote was an in-depth discussion about how awful Harry and Megan are....:as if there’s not more important things going on in the world right now!

Someone showed me a few clips of him interviewing people on a breakfast show, he seems quite argumentative and condescending but maybe he just didn’t like the guests.

It must be difficult being so angry and bothered by things all the time. Is he always like that?

Seemingly he tried to get up on Megan once and she blew him off hence his hatred of her like a spurned teenage boy its pathetic really.
