Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Poor clearout from AOC to give away the penalty

    When?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,189 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

McCloskey did brilliantly to won that ball on the ground.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,721 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

Think Henderson got in Stockdale's way there and potentially stopped that from being a try

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Ah dreadful lineout. What an opportunity blown.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,189 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Very poor game management from Ulster. Two attacking lineouts 5 metres from Clermonts line and zero points from it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,720 ✭✭✭✭AdamD

    Clermont are a dirty side

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,721 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

Ulster just lacking that clinical edge in Clermont's 22. But I can sense a red in Clermont today, they just seem extremely frustrated and very loose in terms of discipline.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,189 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

This Balacoune might be a good defender.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,808 ✭✭✭✭bilston

    Aye so Balacoune's defence...

Raka is absolutely sitting lads down so far

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Clermont off feet in the middle of the pitch there, clear as day as Coetzee stood up to counter

  • Registered Users Posts: 966 ✭✭✭Scythica

    Balacoune can defend i heard

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,808 ✭✭✭✭bilston

Why are we not taking the points!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,189 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Harsh enough penalty when you see the replay.

We had better not concede here

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,808 ✭✭✭✭bilston

So frustrating to be only 10-9 up here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Ulster should be much further in front - a couple of great opportunities blown.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,415 ✭✭✭Dave_The_Sheep

Need to be taking the three points, Ulster. That's several easily kickable penalties where the decision to go down the line has resulted in zip.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,189 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Ulster should be up by six points going into half time. It's criminal that they're only up by one. Terrible decision making when awarded pens in Clermonts half.

They're playing well however. Really putting Clermont under pressure and making them concede pens. Just hasn't been reflected on the scoreboard.

Addison is doing himself no harm at all here in terms of Irish selection.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,808 ✭✭✭✭bilston

The Ulster back row has been superb.

Murphy and Reidy clearly have a point to prove and Coetzee is just being Coetzee.

Marty Moore just had a terrible couple of minutes there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,721 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

Hard call, literally a blade of grass between that being a try or not.

Ulster really need to wake up, Clermont have come out swinging

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,189 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    Marty Moore off injured?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,808 ✭✭✭✭bilston

Must be time for Addison to get an injury!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,189 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

And of course Addison goes off injured.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,189 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Need to see it again but I think Stockdale blew a two man overlap.

  • Subscribers Posts: 41,830 ✭✭✭✭sydthebeat

Ulster defensive line starting to get disjointed
