Slept like a baby last night and just in from walking the dogs and feeding the cats.
Smiling Bumbóg here catching up on all the happenings (I'm refusing to use the "s" word) on my favourite thread.
When I stumbled on this thread a while back, I couldn't get over how heartwarming and positive it was - I think I may even have asked did one have to be invited to join! (I'm so naive!)
There is definitely a wherers book in the making. The question ... what genre?

My dad had a sore arm for a week after the flu shot this year. Mine was a little tender but grand. It can happen sometimes but better to feel a bit off colour than suffer full on flu.

The strain this year seems extra nasty. Malaysian government have given loads of warnings on it in recent days apparently. Seems SARs is occurring alongside it.

First day is grand. Haven't left the apartment yet so not much to report. Working all morning. And have hours more to do. Sigh.

In relation to the new found love some of the ladies have for Ricky Gervais ye can all back off..I saw him first and mentioned it here so hands off lol.

BTW After Life is well worth a watch on Netflix, he's excellent in it.

Back in the leaba for a few minutes, troops despatched to the poor teachers.Not boasting here but one of mine does art in secondary school, he got out his sketch pad about 10pm and I was about to rant about homework but it was just something I had to sign,it was a full paragraph from his teacher saying that his sketch was excellent and she was hugely impressed, it started off with "Wow Duvets Son this is excellent "...I am so proud of him,he's the most unassuming, gentle one in this house and not one bit of trouble since he was born, I'd say hes thrilled and that teacher is lovely to take the time to write all that imo.

x2 for After Life, a nice return to form for Ricky. He had a few wobbly moments previously IMO. His GG roastings are always tremendous. I couldn’t find the full one on YT last night though, it was all just audio.
