Paying a Revolut Link using a BOI Credit Card

Hi there, A friend generated a revolut link for me to pay him some money but when I try this I get the following error: "The payment could not be authorised" There's nothing wrong with my card as I've used it elsewhere and I ended up paying him with a different card but is there some reason I couldn't use my BOI Credit…

Hi there,

A friend generated a revolut link for me to pay him some money but when I try this I get the following error:

There's nothing wrong with my card as I've used it elsewhere and I ended up paying him with a different card but is there some reason I couldn't use my BOI Credit Card?

We're sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulty using your card. If you were previously able to use this card on Revolut, we would advise getting in touch with our card security team on ROI Freephone 1800946764.

Alternatively, if you have made payments like this before, it would be necessary to link in with our Verified by Visa team on 0818200370.
