Moved to Travel as it is more suited to that area

Hadn't heard of this, haven't flown United since 17 but it seems to be a loan arrangement with a third party with interest rates of between 9% & 36% depending on a credit check / score.
Can non US residents avail of this?
    Seems expensive

The provider of the service (uplift.com) talk about credit scores and SSNs so that would indicate it's only open to US residents. In any case, probably better going to the credit union for a holiday loan.
