Does a rental property that only uses electricity need Carbon Monoxide (CO) alarms?

    Hi,

    I have a rental property that only uses electricity (for heating etc). No gas, oil or open fire.

    Just wondering with the current regulations do we need to install Carbon Monoxide (CO) alarms?

    No. CO detection only required where there’s heat producing appliances present.
