Does anyone know which newspaper editions will have the Christmas crosswords? I missed last Sunday's Sunday Indo and they usually have one.

I'd expect the Sindo will have its sports crossword repeated tomorrow, the Irish Times had their competitions in Tuesday's paper

Looking for some help with last few of the Sindo sports:

22A: There is one of these in Shannon and on the Shannon too...Isle?

43A: Did this with prize perhaps? E**d

    Any help appreciated 😉

Isle is correct. Other one is “eyed”.

Anyone doing Irish Times one? Tough this year.. stuck on a few:

16a: He moves to music off the pitch? Dancer fits but don’t know any sports star by that name?
10d: money questions about the army tanks? S!!A!!N!
27a: Mary’s first son is an American athlete. 4 letters
20d: Feline of the forests. 5 letters

Are you sure these are the clue numbers and you’re not mixing up with another crossword? No 37d, 44d, 108d, etc in IT Chequered Flag.

Is there a slight error in the Sindo crossword?

98 Down is Nobby Stiles which forces 105 Across to be Luci Bronze, even though she's Lucy?

  • Registered Users Posts: 62 ✭✭juniorBman

I think so - I just spelled Stiles as Styles
