Either Thursday or Monday. I'll decide later in the week.

That's not exactly rocket science either.

I don't have to worry about going 'back to work'. My only day off was the 25th anyway.

    Ha

I loved that Mitchell and Webb sketch

Thursday for me. I’ve been depressed since the 27th about it.

Enjoy. We're sitting on beach in South Thailand until Jan 6. Can't bear being at home for Christmas. Been doing it since 2010 and don't plan on changing

I’d rather be in Wexford or Bantry or something (or practically anywhere bar Asia) but the idea is good, beats the **** out of work.

Do it. Worse than any drug, you'll keep coming back.

If it makes you happy, that's all that matters.

Some people say we must be mad wanting to be away for all of December (namely Christmas) every year but we love it down here.

We always mix it up and explore other countries before Christmas (this year it was Myanmar) and return to Thailand for Christmas/ New Years for the party buzz.

A month away in the sun does wonders for the body and soul.

I'm in Gran Canaria this year.

I'll return in January with a tan to all my envious colleagues.

    Haterz gonna hate!

    New Years Day.

We don't need any more than one or two days off at Christmas realistically. Anyone else think these holidays should be shortened and we need to do away with bank holidays to improve our competitiveness?

I was due to be back today working from home but woke up with a nasty cough and sniffles. Will check emails later before retiring to couch/bed.

Working today but sure the office is dead. Working tomorrow too but it will be more of the same.

Good to get back in and up to speed so no stress about Thursday when everyone else is in.
Won’t have the New Year’s Day dread.

Also won’t lose the annul leave days so can take a long weekend towards the end of January.

Myself and herself back today. Dropped her to work and made my way in only to go get breakfast with one of the other lads.
Got a phone call off her, she wasn’t supposed to be in today. Muppet. Nothing has happened today and it doesn’t look like anything is going to happen.
My last correspondence with anyone was the 23rd of December and still haven’t gotten an email since then.
Netflix till 3 then go home

That’s worse than having to be in work working today. Sitting there doing nothing when you could be at home relaxing. I’d never hang around work on a normal work day during the year if I was doing nothing I’d just head away.

I didn't bother to book any time off but as there are no trains running until the 2nd, I'm working from home. I don't actually mind my normal commute but not having to drag myself into London for this lazy week has been a big bonus.

MrsTeal has a night shift tonight so for today's shift I will be doubling up as a childminder. Trying to explain what a firewall is to a 3 yr old has proven fruitless, who'd have thunk it??? Anyway, off to the playground for lunch I reckon.
