    Hi

So I am due to finish my year with Turas Nua shortly, and I am currently on the C.E scheme. My question is when my year is up with Turas Nua, I will have six months or so left on my C.E scheme, will I be recalled by Turas Nua for another year, or will they call me after I complete the scheme?

You still had to go to Turas Nua even though you were on a CE Scheme?

CE schemes are only part time jobs.

I understand that. Technically, when I finish my year with Turas Nua, I won't be on JA, I will be working for my money. I have around six months left on the CE scheme when I finish the year with TN, so I may be okay for a little while, but I am not certain.

You have a job lined up for when your CE scheme is over? Sorry, I don’t understand your “I will be working for my money” comment.

Isn’t that what the CE scheme is.

My point I was making is that I have been with TN for nearly a year now, and I haven't even came close to a job, not an interview, nothing. It wasn't for the want of trying, I applied for dozens of jobs, with no luck, my experience with TN has been largely negative. I get the CE scheme is "only part-time work" but if it wasn't for it, I would be sitting at home doing nothing, which brings about the worst. TN didn’t want me to do it in the first place, what was the alternative ? I can't see myself getting full time employment anytime soon, no matter how hard I try, it's unfortunate but it is the facts. I am being proactive. The barriers to full time employment for me are not going to be lifted over night i.e transport, experience, qualifications etc. TN haven't helped me in a positive way, in fact any positive action was taken by me to find employment. I am entitled to feel aggrieved by the service.

What steps are you taking yourself to remove the barriers that are preventing you from finding full time work?

Yes, but you are off the live register while doing them. When I was on a CE Scheme I did not have any contact with Seetec until it ended.

They will probably call you again within 3 weeks of finishing your scheme.
