Iptv basics on an lg tv

Hi all,

New to iptv and have been doing a small bit of reading about them recently. Can people clarify some information about them and point me in the right direction.

We have an lgtv and it seems to have two iptv apps. Smart iptv and ss iptv.

My understanding is you can add a free list or add a subscription service that will maintain your list?

You add the list to the app and you have access to those channels on the list.

Do all list providers work on all apps? Are there any decent providers worth checking out?
