check property records after sale

    Hi All,

    I've recently sold a property and I would like to check that the property records have been updated and that it formally passed under new owner's name.

    I know I could go to the registry of deeds and land registry to check this stuff but I am not in the country so I was wondering if something could be done on-line. Any ideas?

    It will take s few months.

    Why do you think it will not be updated? Did you solicitor send in the correct forms?

    9 months already passed.

    I just like to check, I have no idea if he sent the correct form. I am non resident so everything happened remotely.

    I'd go on revenue website and check if you're still liable for LPT. Not sure if it's the right way to do but I'm guessing this is how you can get quick answer

    Input the address. Pay €5. You get details of property owner.

    When I bout the house it took a couple of years to get the land registry records updated...

    You usually can get deeds back 6 months after sale. So I'd assume it all done at that point.
