    Hi Guys,
I have an Acer Nitro 5 which I bought for my daughter for Christmas. Primarily being used for gaming (SIMs) plus a couple of other gaming sites that she uses.
As she will probably download some gaming content, I am wondering what would be a good antivirus that won;t slow the bejayzus out of the machine.

    Any and all help welcome.

I haven't had a stand-alone anti-virus in years. The built in one on Windows 10 (part of Windows Defender package, enabled by default). has been very good for me.

Yeah, Windows Defender is all you need.

yes. windows defender is enough for such uses and you won't have all the annoying prompts to buy that you'd get with something like avast. It's also lighter in terms of system load.

Same as others. Just using Windows built in stuff for years and all good.
