That's the first Kilkenny jersey I've liked, think having black as the dominant colour and less stripes improves it no end. Still wouldn't wear it though

Both ok but nothing great. The designs this year are poor overall. Hard to think there's someone in an office in O'Neills that can't produce better efforts

ya the kilkenny jersey was cat and the new one is'nt much better.
for a county with great striking colours it should be alot better. full stripes/keep it simple etc.

Too much yellow. The yellow should end right below the sponsor. I thought Carlow would get a classic tri-colour with simple lines, like Offaly. And the crest is still printed in the material.

Well they had to do something new. Copying and pasting an already existing design could hardly be called "classic"....

As has been mentioned before it's the jersey equivalent of fanservice. They know people will buy it if it has squares because that's what they wore in the 80s.

What I meant was a reasonable attempt at 'reimagining' (or whatever you want to call it) of a classic (ymmv).

This just looks like crap due to the unnecessary lighter shade of green.

If they had left the Darker Green all over rather then the light Green added in middle would have been very nice.

A possible 8 or 9/10 returns a 3/10
