He targeted someone he knew couldn't retaliate because she was working, he humiliated her on live TV. This video is going to follow her around for the rest of her career and all because she was doing a job and some absolute dope thought it would be funny. No sympathy for him, he's a grown man who should know better.

You seem to be holding him to a higher standard tbh. Maybe it's because I grew up with sisters, but I am quite disturbed by her reaction after he apologized and gave a plausible reason.

In regards to your post of him bringing it onto himself, would a woman getting physically damaged after groping a man be 'bringing it on herself'? I am using hard power here as no woman would be tried in the way this man is being tried, and I think most people would agree that the man is just looking for an excuse to be sadistic.

Or get a realy high profile lawyer like Gloria Alfred.

How am I holding him to a higher standard? I expect supposedly mature adults of either sex to keep their hands to themselves and not grope members of the public. Fail to adhere to that and face the consequences.

is there a similiar hypocrisy to the news article on caroline flack and her arrest for assault of her partner?

the internet would be awash with sympathy for The woman and the man castigated.

    so much for equality

What was the reason out of curiosity? Been skimming the thread but can't see anything other than an apology?

What makes me really sad and angry.

My life as a woman has not been good. I have not been respected.

The absolute and biggest pain in my life has come from men sexually harassing me and sexually assaulting me. It causes so much pain. It causes so much mental pain long after the act is over. I attempted suicide after a sexual assault. Look at all the women on this thread alone who said they have been raped.

I can't get those years of my life back, and I am angry about that. All that suffering.

I hope that men will one day be ashamed for wht they put women through in this generation.

And how does that make any sense whatever,

There are so many examples of men being convicted for sexual assault for slapping a woman's ass, prior to this.

    Do a quick google.

So, no, she is not wasting police time

Is it possible to get an STD from slapping someone on their arse cheeks ?

What does an STD have to do with sexual assault.

    Answer : nothing.

    So your point is useless

But surely if you were sexually assaulted you could be at risk of getting a sexually transmitted disease ?

I doubt he analysed or premeditated it that much. Spur of moment.

    Eh...no.

Grabbing a woman's breast is sexual assault. How would she get a disease from that? Yor logic is wrong

Wait I thought breasts weren't sexual? Haven't men been being told that for the last fourty years? I'm confused.

A slap on the bum has been defined by LAW, as being sexual assault.

And you have never broken the LAW?

Never driven at 105 km/h in a 100 zone? Never had an alcoholic drink before the age of 18? Never sampled an illegal drug? Never forgot to renew your TV license? Never littered or jaywalked? Never made a minor error on a tax return?

The same LAW defines all of these things as offences.

If we threw the book at everyone who committed any minor infraction, half the country would be in court in any given year.

But we are talking about slapping someone on the arse, is that the same as groping someone's breast? I doubt it?

He raised his arm for the camera, and accidently slapped her back. Most probably a crock of ****e, but still plausible enough tbh.

What's interesting is that he said he slapped her back knowing that there would be other camera's around, and the lady has changed her charge to 'assault'.

    Just something to htink about.

Are you not more confused at the lad on here who thinks you must give someone an std, for it to be sexual assault?

    Now That is bizarre!

Touching a woman's vagina is also sexual assault, no std's transferred that way either.

Can you answer the question :)

Edit: If breasts aren't sexual, shouldn't it be like touching someone's arm?

Answer your own question. Do you think it is okay to grab a woman's breast?

I can't get those years of my life back, and I am angry about that. All that suffering.

I hope that men will one day be ashamed for wht they put women through in this generation.

I'm sorry you are hurt and mentally traumatised.

    You are obviously unwell.

Blaming all men is ridiculous and you should not be taken seriously from this point onwards.

If you had been assaulted by black men, would it be acceptable to hope that all blacks are ashamed for what they put you through?

You are allowed to generalise if you want. You just should not expect to be listened to.

Your personal experiences are terrible. I wouldn't wish them on anyone.

The fact that you can't see that there are a lot of men that should be applauded for everything they have contributed to society and for the betterment of a life you lead, is testament to your tunnel vision mentality.

I will never be ashamed for other peoples actions. I will of course feel empathy for victims, but when they are already too far down the rabbit hole and think of me as a part of the problem due to the fact that I have similar genitals to people who hurt them, I can't help my sympathy turn to pity.

You clearly have a poor view of men due to your past interactions and now all men are tarred with the same brush.

That's not how a sexual assault is defined but you know that already.

So you could rape someone with an object, no STD risk but that doesn't mean its not a rape.

What on earth are you talking about, that std's need to be transferred for it to be a sexual assault.

Look up the definition of sexual assault, and stop posting rubbish

Why, exactly? And did you see that there are many other women on this post that have said that they have been sexually assaulted?

Because I am speaking directly to you.
How does being sexually assaulted mean yhat we are not to be taken seriously?

Blaming all men for the crimes of a few and your inability to see how that is wrong is why YOU shouldn't be taken seriously.
That makes the least sense possible

Of course it does. To you.

You said raped earlier, now you're back tracking and haven't quoted any posts where rape was mentioned. Your arguments can't be taken seriously when you lie about what was stated in the thread and when you put a slap on the arse in the same category as rape. It completely diminishes rape when you put those two things on a par.

God, I feel dirty for liking that post, but I think it's the way things are going. When people say sexual assault now pretty much everybody is thinking 'Well, did he touch your hand or something?'

Edit: It's especially troubling when the word rape is interchanged with sexual assault and even the absurdity of sexual harrasment. It leads to men being told they have a one in four change of being rapists, or that women are being attacked left right and centre, when instead it is nudging statistics in a really absurd way.

    *takes deep breath*

I am right, and you are wrong.

Page 7 of this thread , female poster Alecto says: "I have been raped".

Isn't it amazing that you can accuse me of blowing things out of proportion, when in fact - it is you who is wrong.
