    What a night.

Cross out and he was defending 400k
Barney goes out with a whimper to a yank averaging 87
A car crash interview with Barney.

    Certainly a memorable one

stop huybrechts was not fantastic, cross was woeful never seen him play as bad.kim last nite was so lucky v a 21 yrs old german.
but I guess in the end the result is all that matters,a barney remembrance sees the darts out lol

The standard was fairly poor tonight overall, interesting night though with Barney and Cross exiting

Rob Cross set a new record tonight for the most money lost in a defense of a trophy.

He earned £15k tonight, but was defending £400k, a loss of £385k.

from second to third...goes below price currently, but with Ando and smith so near, a half decent run by both would see him drop to fifth. if Wade were to beat MVG or white reached a semi etc, or gurney have a half decent run, all possible he could go 6th of even 7th.

again all dependent on other results

Lastly on the Darin young win, one thing I forgot to mention....where was the Darin young interview ? Totally disrespectful that he was ignored like that.

    Sky have gotten worse.
    Their comms are a joke
The spotting in the comp has been awful
and the bias and favoritism of certain players is ruining what is a fantastic competition.

Last year i had chris mason on talksport and sky on mute for big games

The next big technological leap forward I want to see from Sky Q is a 'Mardle-mute' button...

Yep and its class , youd never think darts on radio works , but it does.
They dont dim down the crowd noises like sky do so you get proper picture of the atmosphere

Price is more than likely safe in number 2 till at least the match play is he? Hes not defending much there either ?

If young beats him I'll donate 50 to a charity of your choice. Not gonna happen. DeZwann isn't in the same form as he once was and barney always has an extra gear for the worlds. Think hell get last 16

Tell me the charity lads? Or I can donate it to the winner of the prediction competition.

check out this live ranking table, where it shows what each play will have should they win each match.

Interesting thing to watch shift around

Luke Humphries doing excellently in the tournament so far.
Really disappointed by Jamie Hughes today, an awful game to watch between himself and Loran.
Wasn't wholly surprised to see RvB dumped out; after two legs it was clear there was little between them and that Young had the game (although it didn't take much) to beat him. Sad way for one of the all-time greats to go out.
Didn't catch the Huybrechts/Cross game, but was taken aback by the result considering how poor Hurricane was the night prior.

Onto tomorrow, I think Ross Smith will make light work of Teehan.

Really surprised with hughes to be honest, had a good lump on him and barney double, not far off canceling Christmas

    barney on Dutch Tv

"I thought I was any better than this."
    "I thought I was stronger."
"In the end I'm just an amateur."
"It doesn't matter what I'll do after darts. Life has no meaning anymore."

    Suicide-watch type of comments.
