Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Last train to Waterford on Sundays

Hi, According to the timetable on the Irish Rail website, the last train to Waterford from Heuston station on Sundays leaves at 18:45. But the journey planner has a train at 19:45 too. Does this later train actually run, or is it a glitch in the system?

Hi,

According to the timetable on the Irish Rail website, the last train to Waterford from Heuston station on Sundays leaves at 18:45. But the journey planner has a train at 19:45 too. Does this later train actually run, or is it a glitch in the system?

Yes it runs but not part of regular schedule. If its in journey planner it operates. Will run on 8th, 15th and will probably resume mid January. Note it only serves Carlow.
