Toyed with the idea of benching KDB too, but I chickened out.

Probably a decent chance he subs in for me(or would I be better putting Rico as 1st sub?). His record away to Burnley isn't great and he'll start for sure against Man U at the weekend so there's a chance he starts on the bench tonight.

    Mane, Zaha, KDB, Mount,
    Mousset, Jiminez Vardy(c)

    Heaton, Aurier, McGinn, Rico

9 of my lot at home ;)

Bench the 2nd highest scoring midfielder in the game, just because he’s away to Burnley?!!!

Madness is a very polite term for it!

    Pope
    TAA, Soyuncu, Lundstram, Tomori
    Son, Mané, KDB
    Vardy, Jiminez, Abraham

    Gazzaniga, Cantwell, McGinn, Dunk

Don't just say that and then RUN AWAY :)

Who do you think I should bench instead of him? Like I said his record away to Burnley is poor and I think there's a decent chance he starts on the bench (otherwise he's looking at 5 starts in 2 weeks by the time Man U rolls round)

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,508 ✭✭✭✭dsmythy

Attempt number lost count to get under a 2 million OR rank again. Good luck all.

    Henderson
    TAA Chilwell Lundstram Kelly
    Salah KDB Pulisic
    Vardy(c) Lacazette Wood

    Button Grealish Hayden Hanley

I see the logic and also hope you're right because I sold him last week ;)

IMO I'd hate to give you advise, you follow it and you miss out on points BUT...

If that was my team I'd prob bench Pulisic and start KDB, Pulisic and his points are inflated cause of the HT

BUT... there is a reason why I'm currently 1.6m OR

Zaha. Palace have scored 5 home goals in 7 games.

For City, Gundogan is suspended, Pep isn’t putting Foden into that game and if anyone gets left out it’s Sterling so he isn’t suspended for the weekend.

Hoping for some Pep roulette from all the PL Managers this GW. Have a strong bench and a few high ownership players putting their feet up wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

    There, I said it.

Benching is so hard today, Tomori, Cantwell or Martial

Zaha is in form. The corresponding fixture last season finished 5-3. I got him in for -4. There's no way I'm benching him

    Ramsdale.
    Söyüncü, Alexander-Arnold, Lundstram.
    De Bruyne, Mane, Sterling, Tielemans.
    Mousset, Abraham, Vardy(c).

    Martin, Baldock, Mount, Tomori.

    -4.

Subject to several changes in the next hour.

    Good luck all:)

I'd bench Soy if you aren't playing BB. Decent chance he gets a 6 pointer, but higher chance of KdB outscoring him IMO

If it was me I'd pick Soyuncu to be first sub. He will probably get 6 points but there is a chance De Bruyne could get a lot more. Go with what you think is best yourself. Always a chance De Bruyne comes on for five minutes to give a one point cameo.

    My team:

    Gazzaniga,
    Chilwell, Robertson, Lundstram
    Mane, Sterling, De Bruyne, Pulisic
    Abraham, Ings, Vardy(c)

    Button, Cantwell, Kelly, Guilbert

Feel bad leaving Cantwell on the bench after he scored two weeks in a row.

    Good luck!

    Pope
    Soy Robertson Lundy
    Mane Son Maddison Mount
    Jimi Jesus Vardy (c)

    Stek Tomori Douglas.L Lowton

Still tempted to do Stek/Lowton to Henderson/Kelly and play BB. But might hold instead of taking a -4.

Need to make up around 90 pts in money league.....

    Pope
    Treat Robertson lund
    Alli Zaha Kdb Mane maddison
    Vardy (C) abraham

    Button soy tomori greenwood

Huge amount but that's the risk with a good few cheap players been consistent point scorers

    I agree.

2 GWs ago I'd have said with no hesitation Cantwell but the f*cker just got pts when I finally ditched him :pac:... But Martial form is not that great and has the tougher fixture.

    -

As for me, it's my back 4 (well my back 3) that is giving me headaches...
Pick 3 from Soy Lund Tom VVD...

    my bench
Pope home to man city - can't rule out a big score cos city are not playing well
Martial home to spurs - who knows
Tomori home to Villa - 2 points if he starts.....
Hayden away to Sheff united - 2 points

I can not risk bench boosting as Abraham may not start but I am expecting double digits on the bench
