Yup, 5 league goals, 2 clean sheets.

Someone said it was 13 games in a row with no clean sheets, all comps.
Given those stats, where we are is even more remarkable.

Sarr scores his first league goal in his second start. Poor defending by Southampton but that was to be expected.

Hasenhuttl next on the managerial chopping board?

Dont see the point, there is an inevitability they are going down the last couple years.

Your original post implied Everton fans would be backing themselves to win, as in expecting to win. Come back when you know what you're actually trying to say lol.

No Alisson or Fabinho either. I'm expecting a battle.

They have Watford today & Norwich on Wednesday; both at home. They need to be aiming for 6 points in these 2 games.

Southampton vs Watford is a really entertaining game of football, all be it not helped by some more very average refereeing....

As I type Foster hauls down Ings, should be a peno and a red card but Foster gets a free out, Ings rightly going insane, cannot believe it, me either, fûckin useless.

Long hits the post, four yards out, middle of the goal, unmarked. Tap in dot com.

Long has missed 2 sitters but Ings takes his chance.

    Nice free kick.
Hasenhuttl might not be sent on his bike yet despite wearing what looks to be bicycle gloves

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,957 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

A really good free kick from James Ward-Prowse but Foster again having got over and got a good hand to it will be disappointed not to have kept it out...

VAR fails to spot another error it looks like. Quelle surprise.

Southampton first goal should have been ruled out after that replay. Hit Djenepo's hand before the goal.

Remove VAR and it's still a goal, cause the ref also missed it.
Don't think the commentary team mentioned it once after they saw a number of replays. None of the Watford players complained when it was scored. No one in here said it at the time, not on the BBC match thread either.
I'm assuming VAR didn't get to see a replay of the handball in time.

No mention of fans. I do still think that Everton will back themselves in the Derby, they have a nack of causing way more problems than they should.
Come back to me when your reading skills improve and also kindly move away from terminology like ' the pit'.

Missed the second half of the late game, sounds like a good game and var was yet again centrally involved.

Spurs look a bit statistically suspect, winning but letting in multiple goals while doing so - Chelsea style. Had the Wilsons not got slightly in one another's way that could well have been a draw.

Only 6 points off top 4, if they put a run together they could be in with a shout of it.

No bother horse, if it wasn't fans that were 'backing themselves' then who might it be. My bad for assuming stuff I suppose. Case closed. Have a good weekend. I'm too inebriated to give a crud.

Leicester City have scored 12 goals against 10 men, so while they look impressive on the GD chart it's rather misleading.

That maybe true, but what's not that misleading is only conceding 8 goals in total in 13 games, that's seriously impressive.

Really hope Hasenhuttl is given the time to keep turning things around. Think he's genuinely quality.

So ten league games, no transfer window this time for Quique. Ridiculous owners.

Poch would hve to pay Spurs back £12.5M if he takes a PL job this season. I don't think he wants the Arsenal job that bad. Should play into Utd's hands nicely.
