First Premier League assist. Who are you saying he got assists against?

No idea, can’t recall, held him in fantasy football and he got at least two. Checked his stats there and they’re at 2 as well for him.

Fantasy has a different easier criteria for an assist, if you're fouled for a free that's then scored or take a shot and the keeper saves it only for someone to then score it also counts as an assist

Reading the blue moon thread they are hairing their tear out, but obviously fans always see things as worse than is the case in games like this.

Fair point. Must have fallen into one of those then.

    Probably Liverpool's fault, I suppose?

Newcastle being absolutely battered here - will be very surprised if they hold out another 20 or so minutes.

City have had the chances but didn't take one yet anyway. Jesus & Bernardo Silva in particular.
Dwight Gayle up top so far is like an extra man for City cause he's that bad.

Potenial goal of the season that.

If Fernandinho wasn’t booked already that was a yellow.

    Karma served

    What a strike, part 2!

And yes, the ref bottled that - Fernandino should be off.

I assume you mean DeBruyne. Taking off Jesus for Rodri seems a waste in hindsight. He's not going to save much legs for max 10 minutes.

Raoul Moat - lovely cushioned header for Gascoigne!!!

Dubravka is a tidy goalkeeper all the same.

The league isn't even going to be close at this rate.

That was a class save from Sterling, looked like it was by him but he somehow clung on to it.

I think that's a bit bad on Leicester, they're up there and in serious form.

City seem to have given up on the league, the CL looking like their priority.
It's beyond Liverpool's wildest dreams that bar a disaster they have the league won before Christmas.

For now, they aren't doing a 90+ points season, even when the won it they didn't do that. Still think it'll need that to win it.

Liverpool need to beat Brighton first or else City can gain a point on them!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,404 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

City will probably still win it but I didn’t see League winners out there today.

I know we play things down but you cant say that about a team that hasn't won a league in 30 years.

Meh, can't see them getting close to 90 points or more tbh. They'll comfortable get top 4

    Ridiculous....
Liverpool need to beat Brighton first or else City can gain a point on them!

The above is just one reason why it is ridiculous.

    Still in November.

Plenty of teams involved for a change. Injuries and the busy schedule will tell alot.

Mid January is when the league table will be more interesting, but still by no means definitive.
