    Just answering your question *shrug*

It's really all the one who we play, not like we will be winning it.

I know man. The ‘meh’ bit wasn’t directed at you, just the notion of trying to avoid the likes of Salzburg and Red Star :pac:

Ha, Partizan Belgrade winning 2-0 in holland which makes today’s game not so bad.....

I cannot stand Lingard , the very sight of him riles me up...offers nothing other than running around like headless chicken should have been shipped off to Everton years ago reminds me of Theo Walcott except worst.

He's everything that annoys me about the modern footballer - more interested in his clothing line and social media accounts , dabbing and generally having a stupid face.

More annoying still is that he is half decent in my FM19 save so I had to keep him as a squad player - Arsenal even offered me 61 million for him one season can you believe that ?! Of course I accepted and then the lasso turned down the contract offer... of course he did.

Now, let's see what kind of magic Carrick and McKenna conjured up with the first-teamers who remained in Manchester to prepare for the upcoming league games.

Villa to be crushed to start with. I'd say Jose is shítting himself. Pep gonna be found out big-time next weekend. I'm so excited.

That's the best that a united fan can hope for at present, and that's a sad turn of fortunes.

    Glazers too sack Ed
    OLE to be sacked
    Jones...
    Shaw...
There's definitely more things Utd fans are hoping for

no other way to slice that, ole needs to get sacked. working on the presumption he wanted to win, there are 2 scenarios.

    1. the squad he picked was not good enough, in which case he is clueless.

    2. the squad he picked was good enough, in which case he's useless.

    time to get rid

Throwaway game. That wasn’t the kids. The kids are in the first team. That was the kids for 2021. Then he subbed on kids for 2022.
Dylan Levitt looked like he could be a player that can take the ball off the defence and start something up but not for another two years.

    That result stung. Not good

But I still think we should stay loyal to OGS

I really don’t see Ole getting a P45 before January and I think he will get till end of season.

with tough games against spurs abd City coming up abd after the draw at the Weeke d he needs a convincing win against villa to justify the young side today. If we struggle vs villa the spurs abd City games could prove costly, with the pressure that will build, especially if poch remains available.

There is starting to be enough with him both in terms on negative results and performances along with these mysterious bullshît PR spin post match interviews.... you see Woodward looking impatient, animated and irritated in the stands, you got to wonder.

Yeh I think anywhere north of mid table will be enough unless we are getting trounced by rival teams.

I watched Le Mans movie last night , it was very very good. But in it there’s this hateful director who is one of those smarmy yes men that usually get to the top by screwing everybody over and just being clever at manoeuvring themselves into a position of power. This made me thing of Woodward , I was rooting for that guy to get what was coming to him for the entire movie.

I get plenty of my gut instincts wrong, but I say once we don’t get hammered he will survive.

That’s a sad thing for me to say, but I think we will be stuck with him till January at best.

I thought we upped it a gear before the International Break, bar Bournemouth, I thought I saw a improvement in the side in around 5 or 6 games then. Not a significant one, but attacking wise I thought we looked bit sharper.

But then came Bramall lane and it was as bad as ever and then tonight.

Sadly I just don’t see him going. It’s a pity I have say that.

Doubt they will waste time like United

That sancho fella seems to be trying to drum up a bit of interest in himself. I’d say we are being linked to sell papers and up wages.

Who would Sancho even replace? Rashford isn't getting dropped so what buy buy James? Its nice being linked to Sancho and Haaland but we desperately need players in other positions first

James is a LWer, and is a youth prospect.

Sancho is a RWer. He’d be replacing...well, we don’t have a Right winger. We have a collection of 10s and LWers who fill in.

If we got Sancho, he’d fill a gap we’ve had on that side of the field since Fergie left...

Sterling, Aguero, Jesus, De Bruyne, Silva, Mahrez

That is the level of attacking quality and options United need to get towards.

Need a couple of midfielders minimum, after that striker and right winger are absolutely priorities. James is still very inconsistent and just as likely to be anonymous for 90 minutes than play like he did against Liverpool. Sancho does however bring similar issues I feel. Someone like Bale would actually suit quite well provided it was for a reasonable fee or on loan. There needs to be someone who's won things introduced imo.

Yeah I get that but when Martial, Rashford and James are all fit James has been on the right doing well also Sancho is 3 years younger than him.

I just feel spending obscene amounts on Sancho is a waste when that money could get in a center midfield and a creative number 10 which we need a lot more imo

Same goes with Haaland, I'd rather get in a more senior striker for backup to Martial and hopefully Greenwood can reach his potential.

Ah doesn't really matter anyway I doubt either of them will be coming here anyway

I honestly wouldn't go near either of them unless they bargains.

How Mahrez wasn't pushed for I'll never know. Was such an obvious move.

He would also be a 19 year old who already forced his way out of one club and now appears to be in dispute with another, joining a team of young kids who need another precocious talent like they need a hole in the head.

I keep saying it, United need to be very careful what type of characters they bring in from this point and I can't be the only one looking at Sancho and seeing the same old history repeating itself?

Lingard getting typically vilified because we lost. Thought he did very well tonight in context, but because we have the some dire fans who would rival an AFTV after show loss he gets hammered again. The United Stand put up a video of player ratings after the match (gave him a 5/10 - one of the worst in the squad) and said a senior player like him should be getting a hatrick VS Astana. A link up midfielder getting a hatrick away with youth players. Alrighty then.

See the same cringe stereotypes thrown around online about him being young for his age at 26 or however how old he is now. How is this helping. Smalling another case of a top class defender and because he can't hit a sexy pass he's unpopular with fans. Ashley Young a top pro who gives his all yet shouldn't be starting through no fault of his own but for bad coaching and our terrible financial structure. A lot of our fans on social media annoy me lately.

Cannot understand how any United fan who has the clubs best interests at heart and think sticking with Ole and not going for Poch is a good idea. We've just had some of the worst string of results in memory. That 70 mins against Sheffield was astonishing how utterly clueless, tactically convoluted, badly coached, and unmotivated our players were. We don't have a plan, and it's only getting worse.

The Glazers and hierarchy are of course the main problem but I'm sorry, the manager here. I love Ole, always will. City got rid of Pelligrini when they needed too when a top manager became available in Pep. You'd like to think we should to do the same, but we won't which is disheartening.

More embarrassed for Shaw. Looked like he was on his testimonial. Amount of experts in here still wanted to put him in left back only a year ago.

Which manager got picked on for pushing Shaw out? Jose?

    "Amount of experts"

    A strikingly familiar expression.

Anyways, did Shaw look like a guy in a testimonial or a guy kicking a ball first time since September? His usual chunky self after a lay off?

He and Jose were quite bromancey tbf so doubt he's who you mean for pushing him out.

Shaw is now the weak link in the defence, which is quite the change from a year ago when he was probably the strongest link in the defence.

Speaking of, where is Eric Bailly?
