Buying Dyslexia Overlays in Dublin

Hi all,

I'm currently working in SEN in Post Primary. We have Christmas Exams coming up and several students are asking me about A4 Dyslexia Overlays to help them read in their exams. I work in the city centre. Anyone know of any shops around here that might sell them?

We do a cheap version, cut up the back of the folder of the colour that works best for every individual child .

Interesting. And do you find it works as well? Certainly a lot cheaper anyway. I might pop into Easons tomorrow and try this.

Yes , the children found them as effective as the other ones, once they settled on a colour that suited .

Which is why a cheap folder is worth trying first:D I know an optician who spent a fortune on coloured lenses for their child. Child wore them for less than a week.
