There are levels to this game we call life.

Not everyone is made the same. The majority of the population are just a bit dim but are probably more happier because of it, i.e. their ceiling of expectation is lower.

Have a walk through a shopping centre to see the complete lack of self awareness most people have in it's most basic form. People stopping suddenly to use their phone, sauntering out of shops without a cursory glance to check for incoming walkers, labouring along 3 abreast stopping people behind from getting by etc...

The same can be seen on the roads however it's much easier to deal with since the repercussions are much greater.

Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou... you are not alone, Oh the shopping centre scenario! What about petrol stations?? I've been waiting to get onto pumps at filling stations, only to find people sat in their cars on the pump are talking on their mobile phones or even better had one guy eating an ice cream cone, people waiting behind him while he eats his 99, lack of awareness, staggering. I got shouted at in central London once for not crossing the road fast enough on a zebra crossing. Don't facking hurry will ya' ( I had a hangover) what possible excuse is there for eating ice cream whilst sat parked on a pump at a busy filling station on the M7?

The majority of the world are stupid and greedy. You can't just apply it to one area. How else do you think there are so many problems in the world now?

A book has been written recently claiming people were more intelligent 100 years ago than they are now.
The book is called 'At our wits end: Why were becoming less intelligent & what it means for the future' by Edward Dutton & Michael Woodley. They prove that intelligence which is strongly genetic was increasing up until the breakthrough of the Industrial Revolution, because we were subject to the rigors of Darwinian Selection, meaning that lots of surviving children was the preserve of the cleverest. But since then, they show, intelligence has gone into rapid decline, because large families are increasingly the preserve of the least intelligent. The book explores how this change has occurred and, crucially, what its consequences will be for the future.
    Interesting stuff.
