I haven't been to one of these in years

Will try to make an appearance, don't think I've anything on for the 7th.

The rule of Enternow remains on the books here at Arcade&Retro Towers, so it can be deployed if anyone gets a better offer.
Except for me, as host I kinda have to be there, awkward otherwise...
Look, if I'm not there just let yourselves in, eat, drink and be merry, play some games and clean up before locking up on the way out...

    Hello folks,
Christmas is fast approaching, and I'm thinking ahead to the annual Beers to celebrate gaming, good and lousy food we only eat once a year, the chance to get socks and underwear, sacrifice children/animals to ensure the coming of Spring, you know, the traditional stuff.
So, with that in mind, how does the 7th of December sound?
    That Saturday night.

Please, chime in here if you are interested or can think of a better date/location.

It would be, as always, great to see all of you.

I'll be there if one of you will...

We definitely sticking to the 7th? Just wanted to double check (no harm bumping the thread too)

Yes, we are still a go for the 7th.
All welcome, except those lousy DC licences that keep turning up, like that godsawful Batman game on the GC!

But part of A&R beers is the awful games!

Still good for the 7th as it’s just as well it’s on that date because nearly every other day at the start of the month is a no go for me.

Off to UK on the 13th for a Mario Kart event and then in January there will be some of the best players in the world (and me :D) attending a tournament in Paris.

And then possibly the American championship in March and then Building up to the World Championship in August.

2020 will be my year :)

No sponsorship atm but the UK trip will be cheap and I’ll get a decent price on flights for Paris. It’s a group booking for accommodation so becomes really cheap.

The American tournament will be a stretch but you never know.

Last years world championship cost me less than 360 euro with flights included and beer/food is so cheap over there. Also the fact that I can throw a few quid away each week makes it all doable:)

Is there a group for the US as well? That wouldn't be so bad

Was going to bring the Super Famicom as it’s the version I’m playing atm. (NTSC season runs up until April)

However except for when there’s an event on I shall keep the SMK chat to a minimum ;)

On the American event flights are the major cost there big issue is that it’s on around Patrick’s Day. Accommodation is free and the event in total is 30 dollars for the two days.

My Snes is region free, so your Jpn SMK should run just fine at full speed on it.
