I find the accordion music in Where Do You Go To very atmospheric and will vote for it on that basis.

The other two I am actively voting against. Sod it, How Bizzare....but not by much.

R 2 Match 24 - OMC How Bizarre. For a period, very day, school lunchbreak, 13:05 I used to hear this, couldn't figure how it was on at that time so often until I finally clicked that's what Larry Gogan was at with his '1 at 1 on 2'. Fond memories, therefore, gets the vote.

Sex and Candy - its a classic 90s song and well deserving of a spot in the next round. Take My Breath Way is a decent enough song, but personally I think it well to get through round 1 and this should really be the end of the line for it.

Black Velvet - as iconic as Tubthumping is, it just can't compete with Alannah Myles here... Black Velvet is a potential Finals song.

R 2 Match 25 - Berlin - Take My Away. Second only to Law and Order for iconic use of the 'Dun Dun' tempo.

R 2 Match 26 - Chumbawamba - Tubthumping. More of a novelty act than a great song but it was a hit.

Sex and Candy because I hate Take My Breath Away.

And Black Velvet because it's the better song and holds up better on repeated listens; Tubthumping is really only suited to particular moods/occasions.

Ever Fallen In Love - superb song, far better than Pass The Dutchie, and it deserves to be in the next round.

2-4-6-8 Motorway - it's the better song here. Easy to tap the foot along to.
