'None of us would've been upset if he had, quite the contrary.
'The personal declarations of one of the leaders of the Verona Curva cannot justify the witch-hunt sparked by the media and institutions in yet another attempt to criminalise and destroy the entire Ultras world.

says the Brescia (Ballotelli's own club) Ultras, in soft support of the Verona racists

    Scum.

Brescia's ultras would be fairly far right also. Shower of idiots, all of them.

Forgot to add that Balotelli was their main attacking threat and scored a cracker of a goal in the match. Brescia ultras are fools for putting their hateful philosophy above a player who could easily be the difference between whether they stay up or get relegated.

I say he will be gone in January as he won't put up with this in Italy as someone who is part italian I am shocked at the fans over there.

Years back I was at a man utd roma match and my god the ultras where doing the fascists hand signal around old Trafford. My dad who's Italian was embarrassed by them.

The ultras in Italy are really something else.

the ultras dont give a ****e at most italian clubs about the performances on the pitch , most of them are only interested in self power and political stuff, look at the nocerina ultras back in serie B a few years ago after being banned from attending the local derby away to salernitana they gave death threats to their own players not to play the game , as a result the nocerina players all faked injuries and as a result the game was abandoned after 20 minutes , a drone flew over the ground saying respect the nocerina ultras , to these people its all about power not football

the book a season with verona is an excellent insight into the thinking of a right wing ultra movement attached to football club , 20 years ago the problems were just as bad and nothing has been done , there is too much political corruption in the country to sort it out , when balotelli signed form city to AC milan a few years back one of the directors , silvio berlusconi's brother i think , said in an interview shortly after the signing was made to one of the newspapers , "we are all delighted to say we have signed the family's little black boy " !!!

there is no law nor order in italy to this sort of stuff

Love watching Sassuolo's Jeremie Boga atm. His dribbling skills are great. Didn't realise he used to be on Chelsea's books. He looks like he's ready for a bigger move.

Scored a good goal tonight in Sassuolo's 3-1 win over Bologna. Caputo's 2nd of the evening was another nice one.

Inter 1-0 down at home to Verona after Handanovic gave away a pen.

Vecino equalises with a header. It was coming. Now they need to get the winner. 25 minutes to go.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,643 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Barella may have won it for Inter with a brilliant curling effort. Lovely goal.

It ends 2-1 to Inter. They needed to win that and they did.

Super goalline clearance from Koulibaly to stop Napoli falling behind to Genoa. Napoli really should be winning this, especially at home. About 25 minutes to go.

It ends goalless. Napoli inches away from a late winner but Radu just about prevented the ball crossing the line with a great save from Elmas' header.

That koulibaly lad Is a top top defender I would love to see Liverpool sign him he is excellent, probably would lack a bit of pace in the Premier league though

Surprised with how poor Napoli are going at the moment especially with ancelotti in charge, probably one of the better managers on the contenent seems to be really struggling, and pressure is starting to build now too

12 points off the pace with imo a much better squad than Inter. They were put in ritiro which caused the squad to backlash and they showed why something needs to be said with 2 bad results at home this week.
Not a lot of character in the squad to be honest & players are allowed to play badly with no real repercussions.

Definitely an inferior complex in the club as a whole, should have 2 or 3 scudettos won by now since 2012

Cagliari beat Fiorentina 5-2. Check out the last goal, a naingollan special.

He looked great in the highlights I saw. Got 3 assists as well. Cagliari up into the CL places for the time being which is mad.

If Milan weren't 100% useless Juve would be in trouble here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 55,832 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

Have to say it's the best i've seen Milan play all season, they've been surprisingly very good

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 55,832 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

Football is a very harsh mistress

Juve don't deserve to be winning this at all

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,611 ✭✭✭✭ERG89

Milan's performance says more about Juve than it does Milan. Top of the league but they've been poor for most of the season which tells you more about the rest of the league than themselves. Milan will lose to Napoli again in a fortnight no matter how septic they play under Ancelotti.

Anything to be made of that Sarri sub of Ronaldo? Seems to be a bit of debate about whether it was injury related or tactical. Ronaldo went straight down the tunnel after it. Ended up working out on the night as Dybala got the goal.

Ronaldo asked to be taken off

He didn't. Sarri made the call:

One to keep an eye on.

It was the right decision, he was very poor and you could hear Juve fans displeasure of all his poor passes

I will be in Milan at the end of January on a trip, and I'm looking to take in a game at the San Siro before it gets knocked.

AC Milan are at home to Lecce that weekend. From what I can see, games don't exactly sell out there so tickets should be got ok I'm assuming. But does anyone know how likely the game is to be moved away from 14:00 on Sunday to maybe Saturday evening, or Sunday evening etc?

Was there last month and got tickets for Inter game no problem. All fixtures are set for that time like the EPL games are set for 3pm Saturday as default. Think it was confirmed for a Sat evening about 5/6 weeks beforehand

Good win for Juve at Atalanta today. Thought that one might have been a potential banana skin. Had Barrow scored the pen perhaps it might have panned out differently.

Nice win for Inter in difficult conditions at Torino. Lukaku looked a big threat.

Hard to believe he's still only 22. He's progressing very nicely. He did well in the Copa America I seem to recall and he's already matched his goal tally from last season, and done it in half the amount of games. I wonder if he can go on to become comparable to his countryman Aguero...

Another goal for Immobile today via a goalkeeping howler as Lazio beat Sassuolo. He got 15 goals in 36 league games last season; this season he's already on 15 goals in 13 games.

Smalling having a super time in Italy as well. A goal and two assists today in Roma's win over Brescia. United loaned out the wrong CB.
